Pictures from yesterday morning on the set of The Flicker Box (filming took place at the Player’s Club).
It was really great seeing Jerry Stiller act and improvise yesterday - he’s a real master of timing (you could see people stifling laughter during each take - he always had something fresh and funny to add on camera). Danny Aiello was also impressive, cracking up the cast between takes. The director was also really good, really knew what he was doing and how to interact with everyone (just exuded confidence), and it was great watching him work, too.
The day was long (got there at 9:45 AM and left at 3:45 PM, all for about 1-2 minutes of footage, if that), but I’ve come to expect it. Making a movie is a huge team effort and it’s always cool to see all of the pieces come together.
