The official Tumblelog of stand-up comedian Harrison Greenbaum |
On Sunday, I performed on a “Comedy Cruise” with Jonathan Powley, Tom McCaffrey, and Roger Hailes. It’s always fun performing in unique situations, so I really enjoyed performing on a boat. This was my second one and I definitely felt more comfortable. I also was better able to anticipate the challenges (such as competing with the beauty of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Manhattan’s skyline), so had what I felt was a really good set. It’s definitely a challenge to perform on a stage that’s literally rocking (towards the end, as I struggled a bit to stay upright in a particularly rocky moment, I felt a bit seasick, but was glad I powered through), but can’t wait to do another comedy cruise!
